This chili is 99% fat free. Which is great news for those on diets and watching their weight. It was great for me a Weight Watcher! The label says it has 170 calories per serving of 1 cup. There is only 2.5 grams of fat. If you are doing Weight Watchers you will be happy to know that equals to only 3 points per cup! That is great news for chili lovers! Carb watchers may be interested to know that it has 16 grams of carbohydrates and 6 grams of dietary fiber.
The price for a 15 ounce can of the 99% fat free Wolf Brand Turkey Chili is $1.94. I think that is a reasonable price. A can of regular Wolf Brand Chili is $1.32. So, it is only around 60 cents difference. Not bad!
The flavor of the Wolf Brand Turkey Chili 99% fat free is not as rich and spicy as the regular flavor, but it does have a spicy taste. By eating the turkey chili you are consuming a little over half the calories or more than if you were eating the regular chili.
I much prefer the Wolf Brand Chili over the other brands, such as Hormel. In my personal opinion, the Hormel brand is bland. Wolf Brand is not.
If you only eat one serving, which is 1 cup you can just about make two meals out of one can which makes it even a better deal. You can find coupons for Wolf Brand Chili sometimes too which can reduce the price considerably. So far, I have not seen the Wolf Brand Turkey Chili on sale where I am at, but occasionally they will have the regular flavor of Wolf Brand for only $1.00 a can. I am hoping since they put the regular flavor on such a good sale they will eventually put the turkey chili on sale too.
The Wolf Brand Turkey Chili 99% fat free gets a A+ from me! A friend let me in on this wonderful secret and I have stocked up on it. The next time you plan to make enchiladas, frito pie or just want a good ole bowl of chili then the Wolf Brand Turkey Chili 99% fat free is the perfect choice I would recommend to you.
