Review of Wrapables, Scented Rose Soap

I actually got really lucky when I came across 2 plastic containers of Wrapables Scented Rose Soaps. I spotted them while doing a short round of neighborhood yardsaling, and happened to find a woman selling them for just $1.00. At first I had no idea what they were, the container of roses looked so realistic, that I thought they were cheap dollar store candles, however after reading the sticker located on the bottom of the container, I realized these pretty roses were made of soap, and the petals could be individually plucked and thrown into a bath.

The roses melt and release a fragrance. This particular set on review is the red roses, which are rose scented (obviously).

How They Work?

I ran a bath and threw in 4 roses. Quickly the roses begin to melt, eventually releasing the petals into the water. The petals begin to melt while releasing a beautiful and realistic rose fragrance. Unfortunately the roses do not do much else besides add a burst of fragrance.

I use lots of different bathing products, and most will have fragrance, and add a nice silky or moisturizing agent to the bath water which feels great on skin.

Wrapables Scented Roses do not add anything to the water, but the scent is still relaxing, and the rose petals that float around the tub add a nice luxurious Hollywood movie vibe to the bath.

Overall:

Wrapables Scented Rose Soaps are definitely fun to use, they will not add anything beneficial to the water for your skin, but they are neat and fun and would make for a perfect gift for any bathing junkie out there. If offered at the right price I would buy them again and again.

I was only able to locate them online for $5.95, which is not bad considering how many you get per container (a dozen roses). You can also rip off individual petals so you do not have to use the entire rose in one sitting. The scent is strong, and a little goes a long way.

I would recommend them, but would rate them 4 out of 5 stars. Had they just had that one little moisturizing or silkening oomph, they'd be a solid 5 star bath product.
