Review of Xtreme HEAROS Ear Plugs

Roy A. Barnes
This is a review of Xtreme HEAROS Ear Plugs. It is made by a company that has been in business since 1992. I was provided a free sample of these by going to the company's website and ordering them (like any USA household can basically). And thus, I wasn't under any obligation to recommend them nor was I told what to write in my review.

I first went the company's website link here and choose between one of three samples: Original HEAROS, Xtreme HEAROS, and Sleep Pretty in Pink. I chose the Xtreme HEAROS and proceeded to the next page to give them my shipping information. I ordered them on June 7, and received one pair in the color of blue on July 28. According to the company website, the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is 33, which means wearing them is to reduce noise levels by 33 decibels.

These ear plugs are soft to the touch, and they rolled easily so I could put them into my ear canals. The plugs then expanded themselves to fit comfortably in my ear. And then I began a couple of tests on them. First, I ran outdoors, which included running near busy city traffic. The noise was less annoying since I couldn't hear the traffic as badly. I then worked out and took a break at my local YMCA. The break room is next to the swimming pool, where the sound of screaming kids is oftenplace. Again, the noise from the pool area was reduced by wearing the Xtreme HEAROS.

My ears felt comfortable during the close to three hours that I wore them basically continuously; that is, they didn't irritate my ear canals at all such as itching especially. And so I do recommend this product. The company has a locator link where they can be bought here. One can buy these ear plugs online at such sites like Amazon.com or via physical retail stores like Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS Pharmacy.

DISCLOSURE OF MATERIAL CONNECTION:
I ordered a free sample from the company (like basically anyone can); and thus, I have no connection to the maker.

Great review Roy! They use ear plugs at my hubby's job, but I don't think that these are the brand that they currently use.
