Nancy Austin

John and Danita Thomas are the creatives behind the very popular series of books designed to keep parents and kids busy interacting in the arts and sciences. You may have seen them on PBS
promoting their business. This is a product you will use over and over again. It's probably one
of the most valuable affordable gifts to give a child who enjoys learning how to make things.
Of course, your time, effort and guidance are the number one gifts to children of all ages.
The best part of Kid Concoctions involves keeping parents and their young ones connected.

Plus, these creations cost less than a dollar each to concoct. So, kids can have fun and save mom some money.

I want to tell you, these experiments/concoctions really are simple enough for everyone to
try at home when you own a Kid Concoctions book. You'll use everyday ingredients found
around the house. Kids enjoy these activities so much!

Make Your Own Stickers

This is actually pretty easy to do. The kids spent the most time cutting their stickers out,
because they wanted to make a bunch of these cute and sticky decors. Print clip art on-line or cut
out small magazine photos. The directions call for four tablespoons of hot, tap water mixed with two
large spoons of gelatin. Brush the gelatin onto the sticker cut outs with a paint brush.
Allow your stickers to dry for thirty to forty minutes. When you're ready you apply moisture to the
back of the stickers by licking it. Try your favorite flavor of gelatin. Ours is raspberry.

Bubble Making Recipe

We had fun blowing bubbles on the front steps with the, Kid Concoctions recipe which consists of dish washing liquid, water and corn syrup.

Try Something New For Your Friends With Four Legs

Yes, we made dog treats for our canine friends! Get the recipe from Kid Concoctions. Our dogs
gobbled them up right away! Now, I've got to put down my pen, because we're going to make rock
candy!
