Reviewing Entertainment Blogs: What Bloggers Like Dlisted.com Offer

Alexis Devan
Time's "person" of the year for 2006 was "you". While many people complained that this was a lame selection, I could not agree with the magazine even more. With the increasing popularity with online blogs anyone that has a computer can post a blog about any content they chose on the net. Many of these "bloggers" have even found what started as entertainment to be so successful that they have been able to quit there full time jobs and live solely off these sites.

Entertainment tabloids whether you like them or not have always attracted significant numbers of readers. However, with the internet producing these magazines on a weekly basis they can not stay as up to the minute as a blog can. The first entertainment blog I started reading after seeing it featured in Jane magazine was www.pinkisthenewblog.com (Or trent.blogspot.com) which is run by a young, gay male from Detroit. This appears to be one of the less crude sites and features a lot of personal information about the author of the blog which can get distracting. After becoming addicted to his blog I started to find there were many of these on the internet. Thus far the best and most comprehensive entertainment blog I have found is www.dlisted.com. Not only does this site run up-to-date celebrity and current events but the style seems to be much more eye appealing and the owner (also a gay male, but from new York city) is a bit more offensive than the owner of pink is the new blog and in my opinion more entertaining and humorous. (More extremely offensive, but often by far the most humorous try out www.drunkenstepfather.blogspot.com a so he says straight, married Canadian Mexican man, but beware this is truly for a certain kind of person that can truthfully appreciate some quality smut)

Arguably though the most famous of these bloggers is the self-proclaimed "queen of all media" Perez Hilton whose website often features pictures of the also very gay Cuban male author with celebrities like Paris Hilton himself. Perez may be the most "legit" due to his extensive sources and first hand experience with these stars, but I find his blog to be too laden with advertising. Who can blame the man though? I have read that he makes as much as $30,000.00 a month doing for what many people do in their leisurely time.

Many of these blogs have poor grammar, are not spell or fact checked and are often targets of lawsuits from photo companies who do not want their content all over the web with out some dinero. It is simply amazing that a website this simple could demand such great advertising fees, but with close to 5 million hits a day they are clearly not going anywhere soon. The best part of Dlisted.com is the layout of the blog. It seems to be archived and displayed in the easiest to read format and has the least distracting background. The features on the blog such as the "panty cream of the day" and "Birthday Slut" is endearing. This man truly seeks the best content on the net, and it is not necessary always related to celebrities. If you are ever looking to pass some time at work or to supplement your Us Weekly addiction I highly recommend checking out this blog.

Dlisted.com is a mix of confirmed published reports, gossip, shit talking and overall nonsense. This site is purely meant for entertainment and not to be taken seriously.

The motion picture industry was born in 1895 with the invention of the motion picture camera by Louise Lumiere. The first twenty years saw the making of short silent films, which changed to being longer and more complex by the 1910s. This is when Charlie Chaplin's silent films were also produced. It is during this time that director D. W. Griffith while searching for an apt location for his film chanced upon a village called "Hollywood". The first film to be shot in Hollywood was Griffith's "In Old California".if you want more info plz visit in our website http://www.altiusdirectory.com/Entertainment/online-bollywood-awards.php
