What's in it?
The ingredients include Willow Bark Extract and Lichen Extract. These seem like strange ingredients but the resulting deodorant is meant to neutralize your body acids and thus odor (you can get it unscented or scented). It is offered in a watery roll on or as a solid.
How do you use it?
You use this just like any other deodorant, by daily applying it to your underarms. If you get the roll on it is best to let it dry so that it won't rub off on your clothing, as the unscented kind is hard to tell if it is on or not. Nevertheless, if you have used only regular types of deodorant, whether they are gels or solids, you will need to go through an adjustment period in order to smell results. If you don't have too much of a problem with underarm odor, than this is not likely to faze you, but if you need a heavy deodorant and apply it more than once a day, than you likely won't see the benefits of this organic liquid.
Does it work?
Oddly enough it depends on your own body chemistry if this will work for you. If you have very sensitive skin and have had trouble using regular chemical deodorants in the past, than this may be what you need. If you get the fragrance free kind, you will find that it has no scent and will not irritate your skin. It goes on like water, so you will need to have dry underarms before applying after a shower.
However, if you exercise a lot or play sports frequently this may not be powerful enough to neutralize your body odor. If you do light exercise, it will still hold up, but will need to be reapplied.
But either way, you will need to adjust to the deodorant, which can take a week or more.
Other features
Although it the fragrance free should have no fragrance it has the vague scent of glue or paste when it is wet, but wears away after it dries; it takes almost 5 minutes to fully dry. However, it will not leave residue under your arm or on your clothing, which is a definite plus. And if you are into natural products you have the assurance that no animals were used and no unnatural chemicals are put into it.
