Reviewing Top "Get Paid To" Sites: CashCrate and InboxDollars

Tyler Foster
With the invention of the internet came a whole new way to do business, particularly in the world of marketing. Advertisers now had a direct path for promoting their products and services in front of millions of consumers at a very low cost. First came the banner ads with their flashing lights and "Click here" promotions. Those eventually evolved into targeted ads, and get-paid-to (GPT sites) such as the survey site CashCrate. Targeted ad email delivery was next with Inbox Dollars grabbing a large portion of that market. Both of these services have proven to be popular

CashCrate
I have found it extremely easy to make good money with CashCrate by completing surveys from advertisers. You might be wondering how this works since it costs nothing to join CashCrate. Advertisers pay CashCrate for hosting their survey links on its site and promoting. CashCrate then passes a percentage of those earnings on to you for completing the surveys with honest, intelligent responses.

The first day I signed up I completed about six offers and earned $3.00. The next day I completed over a dozen offers and had close to $10.00 in earnings. The minimum threshold for payouts is $10.00, so in just a couple hours I had generated enough earnings to receive my first CashCrate check. Checks are processed the month after you meet the $10.00 threshold. If you are interested in signing up for CashCrate you may do so here.

InboxDollars
InboxDollars uses emails to deliver advertisements for their marketing clients. Users may sign up for free and agree to receive emails delivering a link to an advertisement. Upon confirmation of viewing the ad (usually just a click of a link) the member has earned a few cents in their InboxDollars account. It doesn't sound like much, but over time it adds up. In only a month or so I had generated enough income to receive a $27.20 check from InboxDollars ($30.00 threshold minus a check processing fee). Not bad considering all I had to do was check my email and click a link or two.

Referral Program
Both CashCrate and InboxDollars have an incredible referral program, with CashCrate's being slightly more profitable. With CashCrate members may refer others to the program using a promotional link or banner advertisement on their blog. When the referral begins earning money you begin earning money, at a rate of 20% of the referral's earnings. If that member refers someone to the program you earn 10% of that second-level referral's earnings. Many people are making well over $1,000 a month in passive income thanks to the earnings from referrals.

InboxDollars' program is not quite as lucrative, but with bonuses and various sweepstakes programs is also pays to tell others about the service and have them sign up using your referral link.

Interesting... I've never tried anything like this. I'm on the fence about it.
