Sahara Hotel and Casino: This is one of the Hotels that my Husband and I frequently go to. We are not rich so we do not want to spend that much on our Hotel room, but we want a safe and comfortable place to stay. The rooms are decent and there is a Casino here. If needed room service is available and the buffet is really good and inexpensive. There is an arcade for kids plus an incredible fast roller coaster that goes through part of the casino. I give the Sahara Hotel and Casino 3.5 out of five stars.
MGM Grand: Every now and then you need to splurge. There is not one bad thing about this Hotel I can think of from all of my Las Vegas Hotel reviews. The casino is huge; the buffet is the best I have ever had. It has the price tag to go with it too. The rooms are exquisite and clean-the bathroom in the suite is bigger than my bedroom. One of my friends became ill and the Hotel Doctor came up to help. This is on the South side of the strip and very accessible, plus the monorail they have will take you to many other casinos. I give the MGM Grand 4.5 out of 5 stars. I would have given five, but I am cheap and they are very expensive.
Circus Circus: This is absolutely great for Families we stayed there because they had discounted rooms. The best part of this Hotel is the arcade; we spent more time in the arcade instead of the Casino. It is huge, shows run all of the time for the kids including Circus acts. We had so much fun playing all of the games in the arcade. The rooms and food were okay; we stayed in buildings not connected to the main Hotel and Casino. There was nothing special the rooms were clean, but the walk to them took awhile. I give Circus Circus 3.5 out of 5 stars. If you are traveling with kids this is the Hotel for you, they will be constantly entertained.
Hooters Casino Hotel: If you can avoid staying here go somewhere else. Hooters at that time, was remodeling and my Husband and I were looking for a deal and wanted to stay at a different Hotel. We were upgraded to a suite because of the remodel. The rooms were disgusting, and the casino was incredibly small. The food was okay, and the walk to get to our car was at least ½ a mile. I would give this Hooters Hotel in Las Vegas 1 out of 5 stars. The only thing good about them was the price, which did not help at all.
New Frontier Hotel and Casino: We arrived in Vegas a day early at about 2am in the morning and we needed a place to stay for the night. Our Hotel was booked up so we were able to find a room at the Frontier. We were required to leave a deposit I think it was for the phone. I do not remember it was early in the morning. The fire alarms started to go off every hour for about 5 hours and lasted about 10 minutes each time. We got in line to check out the next day and complained, because we were unable to sleep. The staff was very rude, and it was almost impossible to get our deposit back. The casino was a decent size. We never had a chance to try the food. We ran out of that Hotel as fast as we could and never looked back. I give New Frontier Hotel and Casino 2 out of 5 stars. Most of the guests were happy and having a good time.
Knowing where to stay when you visit Las Vegas will play an important role on your Vacation. Everyone will come to their own decisions about their experiences at different Hotels. These were my Las Vegas Hotel reviews. My Husband and I will keep on venturing out there and we like trying different Hotels, change is always good.
