Marlboro Reds: Pretty much the most popular brand Marlboro makes, aside from Marlboro Lights. These aren't bad. Usually the brand underagers smoke. You can find these at any store that sells tobacco products. Somewhat harsh, but not too bad. Definitely not light though. I personally don't like the taste of them, I'd go with a Camel Filter over a Marlboro Red, but they are worth a try.
Marlboro Lights: I don't like these at all but they are Marlboro's most popular brand. My personal opinion about them is that they taste like old newspaper and packing foam. About as harsh as the Marlboro Reds, but still labled as a light cigarette.
Marlboro Menthols: Marlboro makes quite a few menthols, such as Blues, Greens, Smooths, and Marlboro Light Menthols. They make the Blues and the Greens in 72 millimeter sizes as well. When buying those, ask for Marlboro Blue 72s or Green 72s. Marlboro Blue 72s are my brand, as I started with those. The Smooths are alright if you're wanting to switch up taste a little. A Smooth tastes just like a piece of spearmint gum, so they taste very good, but you tend to get sick of them after a couple packs worth.
Camel Filters: I used to smoke these, I still do on occasion. They aren't bad, but there are better brands out there. They're a little harsher than a Marlboro Red and taste similar, but you can definitely tell the difference. They burn a little slower than your average Marlboro. Give these a try. They also make them in a wider diamater, labled "Camel Wides", however, they're the same cigarette.
Camel Lights: They taste pretty much taste like your average Camel Filter, just a tad bit lighter. I like a pack of these now and then but I wouldn't make them my permanent brand.
Camel Menthols: They make menthols in Wides, Filters and the "exotic blends" such as Turkish Jades or Camel Frosts. I favor these over Marlboro menthols, as they don't taste as bad and burn slower.
Camel Exotic Blends: They make "exotic" cigarettes too, labled as such: Camel Turkish Golds, Turkish Silvers, Turkish Jades, Camel No.9, Camel No.9 Menthol, and their new Signature Blends. They're lighter than your average Camel Filter or even Camel Light, but they taste better.
Camel Turkish Jades: The lightest menthol I've ever had. They taste great, but a little too light for my liking. A little more pricey than your average pack as well. I still like to try a pack every once in a while though.
Camel Turkish Silvers: They taste somewhat like chocolate, and they're VERY light. I cannot stress about how light these are.You can't even feel them going down your throat. They do taste good. As with the Turkish Jades, they are more pricey than average packs.
Camel Turkish Golds: They taste about the same as the Turkish Silvers, but are a little stronger. I favor these over the Silvers though. Still very light compared to a standard Camel though.
Camel No.9: These taste like raspberries. They're very light, but they taste very fruity. A nice, smooth cigarette. They make them in Menthol too. The pack is quite appealing as well.
Camel Signature Blends: Camel has released four new blends called Frost, Infused, Robust, & Mellow. I haven't tried the Infused or Mellows, but the Robust ones taste like a hint of honey and the Frosts are menthols. I like them but they're pricey.
Lucky Strikes: Lucky Strikes are a classic, All-American cigarette. I don't think they make them filtered. They're unfiltered, which means they are a bit harsh, but they taste very good. They toast the tobacco. I buy them occasionally, but where I'm from they run about six dollars a pack, when a regular premium cigarette (Camel, Marlboro, ect.) cost about four. Definitely worth the money.
Pall Mall: I don't like these that much. They're much harsher than a Camel Filter or Marlboro Red, and they do come in an unfiltered if that's your style. I'm not sure if they make them in menthol or not though. They cost about the same as a pack of Camels or Marlboros.
Winstons: They're alright, a bit light, but no extra additives. I smoked these for a year before I got tired of them. They're definitely worth a try as long as you don't get Winston Lights.
Those are reviews of the premium cigarette brands. I tend to stay away from the expensive ones such as Nat Shermans and such. Hopefully these reviews will help you pick out a brand right for you.
