Poetry, you love it, put up with it or don't really get i! This is a review of SPIRITUAL WHISPERS (www.amazon.com) which is a unique and enchanting anthology of over 150 poems which will "move and delight ardent lovers of inspirational poetry." Five years after her first book, Karma, Rochelle Moore's work continues to deepen in both humanity and complexity. Moore went on to pen two additional self-help books "Aromatherapy & Herbalism and When the Levee Breaks. This is remarkable since her higly-articulated self-help books are a unique area alone however after purchasing SPIRITUAL WHISPERS, this author/poet is evoking and extraordinary.

SPIRITUAL WHISPERS is firstly, exquisitely presented in hardback only. The magnificent compliation of over 150 poems is a "must have" for any poetry collection particularly for those who enjoy a bitter/sweet resonance within a creative collection. So many poems are upbeat such as "Tranquility", and yet this poet manages a culture of drowning within a poem with sadness "Lament to Our Heroes" (written about 9/11.)

Fine characterization aside, the sheer poetic delight of SPIRITUAL WHISPERS which begs your full attention with every allusion in advertent. Moore makes her understanding of the power of literary tradition explicit and with wilful attention, draws you into a world of inspiration, sadness, war, love , prayer and mysticism. SPIRITUAL WHISPERS emerges from a beautifully presented book into a poetic trance. The book is colored from its first lines and is skilfully broken into four seasons Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter, with vivid sense and a haunting resonance.

The poem MAGICIAN is so forceful and yet subtle it borders on scary and yet, on pure beauty. Characteristically, this poet can stun with imagery and intellectual sensory clarity; Spiritual Whispers is an evocation of physical revelation which is underpinned by religious comprehension. Moore's world explores further within a structured and deep understanding of life's mysteriousness. This pre-eminent poet evokes the strange nexus where thought, feeling and sense all struggle to contain both the everyday, extraordinary, spiritual and mystery of our world. Once again, she shows us the rare contingency of our world and all that we invest in it.
