ReviewStream.Com Review

A Legit and Easy Way to Make Money but Bad Customer Service

Alexis Valentine
With the current state of the economy, the lack of jobs, people being laid off and just about everyone fighting over any job opening that comes up like vultures, people are finding other ways to make money. One of the outlets people are looking for work is online. I'm no different. A college degree just isn't enough to land a job anymore and I've tried my fair share of "at-home-jobs", surveys and the likes. I've even fallen for a few scams but in the process I did come across a website that was legit, and that was Reviewstream.com.

Reviewstream.com pays consumers to write reviews on products and services. The things you can review on and the number of reviews is basically limitless. I was skeptical myself at first, a huge part of that had to do with the way the website looked. Their website didn't look the least bit professional and I spotted at least three grammatical and spelling errors right off the bat. So why did I try Reviewstream.com then? Well, they weren't asking me to pay for anything and all I had to do was write a minimum of 350 word review on something. It was easy and I had nothing to lose so I figured why not write a few and see how it goes. I'm glad I did because I've made a couple of a hundred dollars with Review Stream in a matter of just months.

So here's the lowdown on Reviewstream.com, the good and the bad. First off it is a legit way to make easy, quick money. Many consumer and business reviews pays $2 a piece. They don't require you to give much personal information to them which was important to me considering how iffy the website looked. They accept pretty much all reviews, and even the ones that have been rejected will get accepted the second time around if it's been revised. I doubt anyone actually proof reads these reviews because I've seen many with grammatical and spelling errors. It's not a place to get notice for your writing, it's a place to make easy money. Review Stream also has a referral program, and on top of paying for reviews they pay per voted on reviews. In other words if someone reads your view and votes on how helpful it is, good or bad, you'll get paid for that vote.

Now lets get to the cons of Review Stream, and there's a lot of it. The website looks cheap and unprofessional, as I've already mentioned. There are a lot of glitches to it as well. What adds to the untrustworthiness of this website is all the grammatical and spelling errors. Review Stream only pays through Paypal and reviewers must e-mail a request to have their money sent to their Paypal account, and that can only be done after their account as reached the $50 minimum. Paypal takes a small portion of that $50 too. Although it clearly says on the front page of Review Stream that their consumer reviews are being paid $2 not all reviews are guaranteed $2. In fact many are only paid 40 cents. I've written over a hundred reviews for them and have never been paid more than $2 a review.

There's a comment section on the review page that lets reviewers comment about their experiences with Review Stream, the only thing is if you write anything negative about them they will remove your comment. I have friends who write reviews for Review Stream as well as they've had the most horrendous experiences with their customer service. The people who respond to the 'Help' and 'Q&A' section were very rude and unprofessional. They have even insulted my friends for asking them too many questions. Their pay per vote idea is good in theory but there's no real way to keep track of it and there isn't a more efficient way to keep track of what reviews you've submitted either.

Review Stream is a legit way to make easy money but it's not the best way. The website, the staff and the overall way that Review Stream is managed is just horrible. I wouldn't recommend Review Stream unless you're really desperate.

imho: You seem to be missing the point. That's just on flaw out of several. Yes, no one is forcing anyone to sell for 40 cents but just because you click bulk rate doesn't meant you'll be paid bulk rate. You must not know much about Reviewstream if you assume that they'll always pay you bulk rate for every review. I've clicked bulk rate for every single review I've written and I've written close to 200. So I know for a fact that not every review is being paid the bulk rate of $2, or now $2.50. You might want to get your fact straight before making assumptions.

People, you're sooooo strange. Who is forcing you to sell you reviews to them at a $0.40 ? It was mentioned hundreds of times everywhere - you can be paid at a bulk rate, if you agree with that upon the review submission ONLY. Don't agree, that's it.
You're agreeing, then selling, then blaming them for this. Blame yourself.
