Revlon New Complexion Oil-Free Makeup for a Natural Finish

Susan Slade
A product that I sometimes use, when I am going out on a special occasion, is Revlon New Complexion Oil-Free Makeup.

It is a glass bottle, that is clear, so you can see the color of the makeup. It has a very pretty gold colored top, with black bands, going around it.

The net weight, of this liquid makeup, is 1.2 fluid ounce (35.5 ml), and the color I chose was toast. This makeup has an SPF 4 in it.

So during the day I just wear a moisturizer, but on an evening when I am dressing up to go out, I will use the Revlon makeup.

It states on the bottle to shake well.

I give my hands a good wash, and then unscrew the cap, at the top of the bottle. I then tip the bottle slightly, as it has a big hole of half an inch, in diameter. Once I have the liquid make-up on my right index finger, I apply it to my face. It goes in so quickly, and disappears into my skin. The color 'toast' is almost the same color as my tanned face.

When I have finished putting it on, and look in the mirror, it gives my skin 'a glow'. It is lightweight, so doesn't cover age spots, but does seem to make my skin look smoother. It doesn't make be look any younger. What a shame.

Once I am out, nothing seems to mess up the Revlon New Complexion Oil-Free Makeup. It goes into my skin so well that even if I sneeze, or wipe my nose, it doesn't remove any of it. I have other liquid makeup products that just come off, and that looks awful, with makeup on my face, but not on my nose, or under it.

This is for all skin types, and Revlon states that it doesn't cake up! It is fragrance free, non-irritant, oil free, and won't clog up. It does have an SPF factor in it, but as I don't wear face makeup during the day, I don't know how that works.

As this goes on so easily, and so lightweight, it is just as easy to come up. I use one of my good quality cleansers, rinse my face, and dab it dry. My skin isn't dried out at all. I do moisturize my face morning, and night.

I couldn't remember how much I paid for this makeup, so checked On-line, and it is around $12. I know that I wouldn't have paid that kind of money for it. I think I am the bargain hunter of all time.

This one is a keeper for me.

    Great review. Very well-written.

Sounds like it has some good qualities but isn't the "fountain of youth" we're all looking for, darn.
