Revlon Luxurious Color Eyeshadow - Eye Color that Lasts and Amazes

Gwendolyn Taylor
Recently, Revlon has make new additions to their eye shadow product line with the launch of "Luxurious Color Eyeshadow" in "Satin" finishes and "Luxurious Color Eyeshadow" in "Perle" finishes. I got the opportunity to try this new collection out and I was blown away.

I have been looking for a new eye shadow since my current brand was now slowly being discontinued. However, I wanted to find an eye shadow that was a distinct shade of grey (my stale eye shadow color), stayed put on my eyelids with no need of touchup after a few hours (I have oily eyelids), and wouldn't burn out my wallet. Revlon did not disappoint.

I came across their "Satin" eye shadows and saw the shade "Platinum Glitter". I knew right away that it would be perfect. I was not too light and too dark for my skin tone and it had a hint of shimmer which I prefer in my eye shadows. The first time I applied it, I was hooked. The color and application was smooth, hence the name "satin" and was super long lasting! Ever since I have been using this I have never had to touch up throughout the day (even on really hot days!) while as other eye shadow brands I have tried I would have to reapply every few hours.

This eye shadow comes in three finishes: "Satin" (a smooth shimmer finish), "Perle" (a shimmer finish), and the original "Matte" finish. The "Satin" finish has the following shades: Polished Bronze (a shimmering light tan), Shimmering Siena (a shimmering brown red), Nude Slip (a shimmering pink brown), Peacock Lustre (a shimmering green blue), and Platinum Glimmer (a shimmering dark grey). The "Perle" finish has the following shades: Glistening Snow (a shimmering pearl white), Black Galaxy (a shimmering deep black), Brushed Copper (a shimmering golden tan), Violet Starlet (a shimmering purple), Sunlit Sparkle (a shimmering light beige), Sparkling Gold (a shimmering metallic yellow), and Lilac Shimmer (a shimmering light purple). The original "Matte" finish has the following shades: Vintage Lace (a muted off white), Peach Sorbet (a light peach), Pink Innocence (a muted light pink), Venetian Blue (a bold bright blue), Rivera Blue (a navy blue), Aubergine (a brownish purple), Rich Sable (a bold brown).

A little bit of this goes a long way, especially since you don't have to keep on touching up throughout the day. These come in 0.08 oz cases and retail for about $4.49 each. Since Revlon is such a renowned brand, it is makeup products are sold in mass merchandise stores, drugstores, and specialty beauty stores.
