I am blessed from my soul to my home

from my own birth to giving birth.

Abundance flows around me as I deeply inhale the wonders of this world

As my ears and heart are opened

to my fellow sisters of Color,

I hear their cries

There's pain in their hearts and hope in their soul

I see the flames of hope that lie within survivors of violence

and I commend them

Pushing past fear to realize their potential

Is my greatest hope

Beautiful and courageous leaders stand before me

Embodying the epitome of empowerment

Revolutionary Mothers shout from the skies

Educate themselves with knowledge of power

And use it to make a difference

Enough of the Violence, we say

We are beautiful in every facet of our beings

Recognizing the power that lies within me
