Rex Ryan Enjoys Smelling Michelle Ryan's Feet...Is This so Wrong?

New York Jets' head coach Rex Ryan asks Michelle Ryan (Rex's wife), if he can smell her feet on a video that was posted online and is now the talk of New York City and the NFL at large.

Videos of a 'sleeping' Michelle Ryan in parked car appeared this week on the Internet. In the video, which seems to be some sort of a role play, a man approaches the car to see Michelle Ryan's bare feet hanging out of the driver's side window.

The man, who doesn't appear on camera, but is apparently operating it, "wakes" her up and compliments her on her nice feet. He twice asks for permission to "touch them". He does and remarks how soft they are. In the video, he says that he bets men like to do all kinds of things to those feet.

Finally, he asks her if he can smell her feet.

The video doesn't actually show anybody smelling her feet, but it is implied that he is enjoying her feet to the fullest. Well, maybe he doesn't enjoy the not "the fullest", but he clearly is happy with his discovery.

Ultimately, the video is harmless. Though, Rex Ryan, as a public figure, has really put himself out there this time, even more than he has before. While Ryan is no stranger to off the field controversies, and while the New York Jets organization has, at least to this point, been behind him, this latest development really takes the Rex Ryan saga to the next level.

What seems bizarre is not so much that Rex Ryan and his wife seemingly share a foot fetish or enjoy role playing. While exact statistics are not kept on this sort of thing, it is probably safe to say that a foot fetish, as fetishes go, is pretty vanilla and the tape itself, as 'sex tapes' go, was rather tame. There was, after all, no nudity or actual sex act on the tape, unless, of course, one considers a bare foot a form of nudity, and the rubbing of said foot a sex act.

What does seem bizarre is that a public figure such as Rex Ryan, and by proxy his wife Michelle, would willingly put what is presumably a private role playing session involving his wife's naked feet onto the internet.

The video is said to have been put up on Youtube by an individual without any names attached. But as Michelle Ryan's face (and now her feet) have become very recognizable in the New York City area and as Rex Ryan's voice is probably more as recognizable than the mayor's, they were bound to be noticed.

It seems that as we hear Rex Ryan asking to smell his wife's feet, we know the Ryans better than ever; from, well, head to toe, as a matter of fact.
