Pawtucket / Wintertime Farmers Market - Farm Fresh RI
This farmers market located in Pawtucket RI at the Hope Artiste Village is open on Wednesdays from 4pm-7pm and on Saturdays from 10am-1pm from November through May. With over 50 local farmers (dairy, produce, meat etc) and fisherman represented here, you are sure to find local and fresh food to fill your kitchen. They accept cash and credit cards and for those less fortunate food stamps as well helping to give everyone the opportunity to eat healthy.
There are local bakeries and oyster farms here as well and gluten-free baked goods offered and even local and fresh eggs. This farmers market is perhaps the largest in Rhode Island and includes almost all of the local farms.
Providence / Wintertime Market Outpost At AS220 - Providence, RI
This farmers market is not open all winter but it is available from November 6th through December 18th so for a good portion of the winter. Open Saturday's from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Eleven local farmers are represented here and you are guaranteed to walk away with both local and fresh foods. They like the other farmers markets take cash, credit and WIC fruit and veggie coupons.
Schartner Farms - Exeter RI Farm Stand
A local staple, Schartner Farms is best known for their delicious pies. The store is open seven days a week from 7:30am until 7:00pm. Schartner Farms is a supplier of local farm fresh foods to over 50 local restaurants, but perhaps the best news is that they can also be a supplier to your family and kitchen table.
Phantom Farms - Cumberland, RI
Phantom Farms is like Schartner Farms. They are locally well-known and are particular famous locally for their apple orchards. They do have a farm stand however that is open all year hours are Monday though Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
