The author and her husband are both disabled and on a limited income, but they both want to help as much as they possibly can, so they are putting their talents to work, creating awareness ribbons to draw awareness to Haiti. They will be donating ALL profits from the sales of the "Ribbons For Haiti" and will be sending all money to a reputable charity for Haiti. As of this writing, the charity has not been chosen, but the authur, would like suggestions from her readings on a good charity that is trust worthy to send all moneys where they need to go. During the September 11, efforts, The Red Cross was doing things that were not up to par. The writer and her family wants to be sure everything they send, is sent through a charity that will not do what was done during the September 11, clean up efforts.
Thank you to all who read this and God Bless you all!

Great idea.
Good observations on trustworthy charities. I like Marc's suggestion.
That is exactly my fears! However, you've given a good one for me to look into, the Haitian Health Foundation, thank you! I will post what i learn about them as well as which organization we decide to go with.
I just saw an O'Reilly Factor report on the unreliability of giving money to Haiti because of corruption and even lack of organization and accountability from some US charities and efforts! That's why, trusting O'Reilly's track record, if I'm considering giving money to Haiti, I'll only give my dough to places approved by O'Reilly like the Red Cross, the Haitian Health Foundation, etc..
