Rica Peralejo is Blooming

It can be remembered that a few weeks back, Rica's pastor-boyfriend, Joseph "Jo" Bonifacio, already popped the ultimate relationship question. Rica accepted the proposal after 10 months of dating and made the announcement on national TV.

Rica is a mainstay in the ABS-CBN morning show, Umaga Kay Ganda. She is now sporting a wholesome and wacky image together with born-again Christian and fellow host, Donita Rose.

Sometimes though, my husband and I would comment that Rica's clothes on the set are far from appealing. We are wondering if the shabby outfits are part of a plan to hopefully remove Rica's sexy image from the public or she is just tired of beautifying herself. I don't want to put her down, but Rica looked more like a housewife than a TV host for the past several months.

But not anymore. And thankfully, too. Today, Rica donned a more feminine outfit. The dress is not revealing and rather conservative, but it made Rica more attractive. She had light make up on and a pair of chandelier earrings. It was actually my husband who first commented that Rica is blooming.

And rightfully so. Rica looks so much in love. She is obviously very happy with her newfound relationship with the Lord and her fiancé that her joy is obvious. She is a picture of contentment and serenity. Her aura now is so much different than when she used to date her ex-boyfriend Bernard Palanca and when she was still not careful in choosing her roles.

We sincerely wish Rica all the best. Now that she has found her true love, may she live in peace and productivity, touching lives for the Lord.
