Rica Peralejo is Getting Married

Actress turned TV host Rica Peralejo has already announced her engagement to her non-showbiz boyfriend, Joseph "Jo" Bonifacio, who is, in fact, a pastor.

Rica has been known for her tumultuous relationship in the past with actor Bernard "BJ" Palanca, and when she was pursued by Piolo Pascual. But it was a pastor who captured her heart.

After turning around and giving her life to the Lord Jesus Christ, Rica has completely changed. Whereas she has gotten involved in sexy movies in the past, she has shed her sexy image in order to live a life that is pleasing to God. She was even quoted in the interview that no relationship in her past felt as right as what she is having now with Mr. Bonifacio. And she also mentioned that she is excited to have their first kiss, as they have reserved it, along with everything else, until after their wedding.

I was so touched by the words that she uttered on TV. She is so much different now. I have seen Rica since her childhood days in Ang TV, how she became troubled as a teenager, and how she has gotten herself involved in steamy scenes.

But God has redeemed Rica and gave her a new life. And I am so happy for her. Rica is such a testimony to the love and power of God. Indeed, nothing is impossible with God.

After going out for 10 months, Rica said yes to Jo Bonifacio. But details of their wedding have not been released yet.
