Rice Milk Smoothies

If you are a vegan, or if you are lactose intolerant, rice milk is the perfect option for you when making these nutritious and delicious smoothies.

Rice Milk Fruit Smoothie

1 1/2 cups chilled rice milk
2 or 3 ice cubes
1/2 cup strawberries, destemmed and washed
1/2 cup chilled pineapple tidbits
1 ripe banana, sliced

Place milk and ice into blender. Use the ice-shaving speed to mix.
Add fruit, and blend just until mixed. Over blending can cause the
smoothie to become too thin. (For a thicker smoothie, decrease rice milk to 1 1/4 cups.)

You can substitute other fruits in the same quantities for this recipe, and double or triple it to make more servings.

Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with a mint leaf if desired, and enjoy!

Makes 2-3 servings
