Rich Cronin Lead Singer of LFO Died; Cronin Died from Acute Myelogenous

Rich Cronin, the lead singer of the hot boy band LFO, died Wednesday after suffering a long battle with leukemia. According to the brother and TMZ, Rich also died from a stroke. Cronin was only 35 years old at the time of his death.

LFO became a huge hit with the popular song "Summer Girls" back in the 90's. This song became so huge it had all the girls going out to Abercrombie & Fitch so they can look like a girl from Abercrombie & Fitch as Rich Cronin had mentioned in the song.

The popularity didn't stop there though. LFO came out with another smash hit song titled "Girl on TV." This song was actually about one of the girls Rich dated. Her name was Jennifer Love Hewitt. Some people might only remember these two songs. However, LFO had more than 50 songs if I recall. Here are my top LFO songs in no particular order.

According to Popeater.com, Rich suffered from acute myelogenous, which is the most common form where a defect shows up in the immature cells in the bone marrow. What causes this type of leukemia is not really known. However, such things as smoking or exposure to benzene can trigger this disease according to web.org.
