Rich, Gay, and Republican= Stupid

Werner Haas

A few days ago, the Los Angeles Times, running out of things to publish, decided on a laudatory article about a sixty-ish gay man who decided he was rich enough to run for President. This news item covered his various homes, his silver Mercedes (doesn't he realize the parents of those who built his car built the gas ovens for his fellow Jews?) his making enough money (not quite sure how legally) to retire at 53, and waiting until his parents were dead to "come out." While he now publicly pats himself for coming out, a lot of his fortune was made helping homophobes like George W. Bush and his ilk run for office.

I hate to give more publicity for this self-appointed gay man with hopeless desires and misguided patriotism by mentioning his name. You can look up the LA Times article or ask a friend who, no doubt, is still seething about the flattering "expose." I am still seething to see this phony exhibitionist being given free publicity when everything he has done, at least publicly, has done nothing but bring shame and political and legal repression to his fellow gays. Yes, there are shallow gays as there are Tea Party-ers among heterosexual folks. But it's one thing to be more interested in genitalia size than in political beliefs, there is not a single law enacted by or even favored by Republicans that provides equality under the law for gays and Lesbians. Those Bible-thumpers who see homosexuality as specifically categorized as a mortal sin in their Bible are all Republicans. And that self-anointed pastor, John Hagee, who so proudly backs Texas a-hole Rick Perry, was the one who claimed the Holocaust was God's way of telling the Jews to get out of Europe and go to Israel. And this smug, smirking rich Jewish faggot wants us all to follow him, like lemmings toward his goal of being the first gay, Jewish President. It would seem that if this idiot were truly concerned about gays and Lesbians, instead of throwing his wealth around in Iowa and other nonsensical political races, he could donate those dollars to help struggling, homeless, ill gays and Lesbians, those he now so callously considered his equals (once his parents were dead and he didn't have to face their conservative wrath- or be written out of their wills).

This article was not published April 1, so it was not an April Fool's joke by Times editors. I checked the internet- and this man truly exists, sad to say. So, this is not an anti-gay spoof. So, let's accept that self-serving Republican Jewish gay cretins like the subject of this article really do live among us. No, not among us----in rich gated enclaves. It is for this that members of my family and their friends were forced to wear yellow stars of David and marched away never to return? Shame on you, Mr. Rich Jewish Gay impersonator. Not only wouldn't I ever vote for you, if I were the only one around, I wouldn't even give you CPR.
