Just don't become a whore to "more".
Be thankful but also be aware
That those who have a lot must SHARE.

Some also give alms to the needy.
One way that having makes my day
Is being able to give some away.

Amen to that !!! Nice work. You don't have to be rich to help others. You only have to reach back and pull someone less fortunate along.
Nice theme. I do think there is a value in being (financially) poor that some of the the rich may never know--but that's another matter. Wealth is relative--only a 'spiritual bank account' accompanies one to the grave.
The theme of giving and generosity is deliciously conveyed in your fine poem.
One can also give love, smiles, attention, etc...a different kind of wealth.
