Ricky Martin Welcomes Twin Boys!

Latin American singer Ricky Martin has two new bundles of joy. Yesterday, the pop star released a statement through his representatives stating that he was blessed with twin boys from a surrogate mother some weeks ago. The children are said to be in superb condition of health after being delivered via gestational surrogacy.

Martin, whose real name is Enrique Martin Morales, is overjoyed on these new additions to his clan. He is said to be ecstatic about the prospect of raising the two boys as a single father. The mother of the twins is not known for now, neither are the babies' names.

The 36 years old pop star is taking fatherhood seriously, as is evidence in his funding of his own children's charity, the Ricky Martin Foundation. He is also a Goodwill Ambassador to UNICEF and has active role in trying to prevent the sexual exploitation of children around the globe. His dedication is also evidence in his plan to now forgo all public spotlights to dedicate the rest of the year to bonding with his children.

The Puerto Rican singer, who is famous for platinum selling tunes such as "Livin La Vida Loca" and "She Bangs", is going to make a great father according to the fans of his music and work. His volunteer efforts and cares toward children in need all point to that.
