Where ever in your home that you spend the majority of your time at this will be the area that will need a air cleaning system meaning a air purifier. This is a for sure way that your house can have a pleasant scent. There are plenty of homeowners that don't know that indoor plants may be a key to their smelly home problems. Buying tropical house plants will help absorb any airborne toxic. You can place these plants anywhere around your home, but it is always best to place them in areas where you spend the most of your time. Tropical plants like bamboo, spider plants, areca, lady palms, and ferns are all plants that will make your home more fresh.
Another way to freshen your home is the more new items you purchase like computers, or televisions the more you need to open your windows. Be sure to remove all wrappers before bringing them in your home. These type items increases your exposure to vapors because they give off hundreds of chemicals. One of the key rules to a better smelling home is to be sure that the air is ventilating. Fresh outdoor air is always needed to make this happen properly.
Burning candles should be a last resort on your list. Burning candles has been known to refresh your home some candles can make your home smell fresh, but want rid you of the problem that may be causing it. If burning candles is your choice then be sure to be wise about the candle that you purchase. Candles can be a hazard to your home and shouldn't be left unattended around children and pets. If there is a drift, or a tight spot in your home this is not the proper place to burn your candles. Note to be very careful. Having a clean home will also rid your house of any bad odors. Lastly keeping the house dusted, dishes washed, floor mopped, bathroom clean, and trash emptied regularly will give your home a refreshing smell.
