Background
Riddle School 2 took about 3-4 weeks to create. According to the Author Comments, which can be found on the submission's website, Riddle School 2 is a step up in terms of length and graphics compared to its predecessor, Riddle School.
Gameplay
Phil, the main character, is back and ready to escape yet again. This time, you will find Phil trapped in a music class. Students that were seen in the first Riddle School are also present. Your objective is to help Phil escape.
To assist Phil, simply click on objects in your surroudings to have Phil tell you a little about them. Hopefully, you will click on something useful. Useful objects that can be collected can be picked up by simply clicking on the object. The object will then appear in your toolbox that is located at the bottom left hand corner of the screen in red. To use an item, simply click on the item once it appears at the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
Like its predecessor, Riddle School 2 contains a series of puzzles and obstacles that need to be solved or overcome in order to advance.
Review
Riddle School 2 is definitely a step up from its predecessor in terms of the amount of time it takes to complete it and in terms of graphics. What really makes the second Riddle School better than the first is the more interesting storyline. Also, the appearance of characters from the first Riddle School really helps players make a connection with the series. Those following the Riddle School series will appreciate the allusions made throughout the story. For newcomers, Riddle School 2 will make them interested in how the story all started.
Riddle School 2 scores a 7/10 for its good level of entertainment value.
