Ridgeview RV Resort in Bullhead City, Arizona

Fun Resort in the Middle of Premier Activities

Kathy Anderson
We were able to spend two weeks in this new-to-us RV resort last year in early December. We traveled a bit this year and last and had a chance to stay at several really nice RV parks and this one can be added to the list of "really nice RV parks".

When we got there it was a bit windy and chilly but there were several days of beautiful sunny days with no wind, too. But be prepared for wind as we were told it IS windy about half the time. The temperatures dipped pretty low at night to our surprise but this year the weather has been so different all over.

Laughlin, NV is just across the river and has several casinos to try your hand at the slots, cards, bingo, etc. They do have some specials on meals and buffets along with stage shows. There's many many stores for shopping and even has an outlet mall. Perfect for us at Christmas time.

There's lots of scheduled activities in the clubhouse for everyone to enjoy. I went to a line dancing class a couple times, worked the puzzle and played some pokeno. We walked down to the river one day right from our RV site and walked along the river and through a park. We visited Grapevine Canyon, did some hiking there and saw the petroglyphs, drove the Route 66 highway to Oatman, AZ and spent a real memorable day there feeding the wild burros some carrots. They roam the street during the day at will.

The park has 302 full hook-ups and the maximum RV length they can accommodate is 40'. They do accept UPS and FedEx packages. Peak season is December through March but they are opened year round. Reservations are required and made through Resorts of Distinction as this is a membership park. Call to see if it's open to the public, which I think it might be. Of course, pets must be on a leash and you need to clean up after them.

There are park models there to rent which sleep 4. Their nightly rate, check with them as they may have changed, is $50-60 and linens are not provided.

They have a swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, laundry room and lots of hiking trails plus a picnic area and shuffleboard. Las Vegas is just 2 hours away and the London Bridge is only 1 hour away in Lake Havasu City.

We really enjoyed our stay at the park and found everyone to be very friendly. We will be staying there again next year when we come back to the southwest for the winter.

You can contact them at 928-754-2595 and their address is 775 Bullhead Parkway, Bullhead City, AZ 86429
