Hose
The Ridgid WD1665 wet/dry vac is fitted with a long, seven foot hose. The hose has a diameter of 2.5 inches. This means you shouldn't have to worry about it clogging up too often. The hose is also designed to lock securely to the tank. This will ensure that it won't come loose if you pull the vacuum by the hose.
Filter
The Ridgid WD1665 has a pleated paper filter. The filter is treated with Microban, which helps keep harmful organisms at bay. This helps the it last longer. However, you don't need to throw the filter away. You can simply wash it and use it again.
Blower
One of the best features of the Ridgid WD1665 wet/dry vac is its integrated blower. You can take the top off of the vac and use the hand-held blower. This unit is capable of blowing air at speeds around 265 mph, so you should be able to remove all types of debris with the blower.
Tank
You will be able to hold a lot of debris and liquids with the Ridgid WD1665. The tank has a large 16 gallon capacity. It is also equipped with a drain so you can remove liquids from the tank more easily.
Maneuverability
Lack of maneuverability is not much of a concern with the Ridgid WD1665. Its four swivel casters allow you to push or pull it along easily. The power cord also measures 20 feet long, so you aren't limited much by it.
Accessories
The Ridgid WD1665 uses 2.5 inch accessories which is standard. Therefore, you should be able to find various accessories. It is packaged with two extension wands, car nozzle, blower nozzle, wet nozzle, and a utility nozzle.
The Ridgid WD1665 wearable wet/dry vacuum can also be used as a blower. It has a large tank capacity of 16 gallons, so you should be able to hold a lot of materials. The pleated paper filter can also be washed and used again.
