Right Wing Defends Rosie O'Donnell-Funded Adoption Agency

Far Right Defends Left-Wing, Child-Adoption Tactics

Can you imagine Anne Coulter and Rosie O'Donnell walking down the streets of Washington, hand in hand in support of each other on the subject of adoption?

Rosie O'Donnell, in an interview with Larry King, revealed the fact that she funded and worked for Children of the World Adoption Agency out of Verona, New Jersey. This is the same agency that helped in the adoption of her children. It's an agency with an executive director whose actions were as morally reprehensible as the agency was unethical in practice. This led to the pulling of the license that certified this corrupt agency, and since May 21, 2007, remains today, still in revocation.

How do I know this? I received a letter from the Department of Human Services of New Jersey stating such wonderful news. Yet, this woman will not talk about this agency of which, at one time, she was of the employ.

I am sure by now one can determine that my opinion towards Ms. O'Donnell is a little biased. However, my stand is that warranted from her is a stance either condemning, or defending the actions that led to this adoption agency's demise. She, in my opinion owes the people that much or more.

Interestingly, all my efforts to have her office clarify Rosie's stance on the subject of this have failed. Apparently, she would rather not talk about the subject.

In what my mind thought would be a great idea, her silence then spurred me to join some forum groups on the Internet in the hope that there might be discussion on the topic. I was in for a rude and astonishing revelation!

After posting three entries on the subject of Children of the World, and Rosie O'Donnell's affiliation with its operation, the unexpected happened. It had been about a week that my posts were getting responses, when the moderators of the site began editing my posts without my permission.

The administration of this site was definitely of the conservative right. Therefore, as far as political lines go, it was ironic of purpose, that when my posts mentioned Rosie O'Donnell, and Children of the World's light of presence unbecoming, it was at that point when they began to edit these posts without my permission.

This comedian is a conservative thinking person's public enemy number one. Ms. O'Donnell's quotes and opinions on suspected United State's involvement in the 9/11 tragedy drew more than just the ire of said conservatives. There were radical left-wingers making threats on her person based on these statements! If we consider that the Web site took exception to my views on wrongful adoption, what is the chance of them sharing my opinion on the necessity for child adoption reform? Next to none, I would think. The reason for this is can be explained with one simple fact. If a conservative group will go out of the way to defend the integrity of a Rosie O'Donnell-funded adoption agency despite its illegal practices, this group is not about to change their established views on adoption anytime soon.

How then, does this conservative right wing defense of a Ms. O'Donnell interest, compare as to the strength of resolve in their opposition of adoption reform? As an analogy, Winston Churchill once quoted, "If Hitler invaded Hell, __ I would make at least a favorable reference to the devil in the House of Commons."

This battle for adoption reform will be a tough challenge for us. Nonetheless, as for equality and fair play, found was a Winston Churchill quote that suited this author's perspective, "We shall fight them on the beaches..."
