Rihanna 20/20 Full Interview Reveals All to Diane Sawyer

The Rihanna 20/20 full interview with Diane Sawyer reopens the ugly Rihanna/Chris Brown saga from this past spring. Last night's Rihanna 20/20 full interview had Rihanna give Diane Sawyer her first public account of what Chris Brown did to her. Rihanna left nothing out of the 20/20 full interview, both in the first part on Good Morning America and part 2 on 20/20. The full day of Rihanna's interview painted another harrowing view of the Rihanna/Chris Brown scandal - and Chris Brown himself wasted no time responding back.

The Rihanna 20/20 full interview with Diane Sawyer was highlighted by Rihanna giving her point-of-view from February 6, the night Chris Brown is accused of beating her. Rihanna described Brown as having "no soul" in his eyes, and almost immediately asking her if she hated him afterward.

When the scandal first broke, there were many stories about how Rihanna had stayed with Brown for so long, and why she didn't dump him sooner. In the 20/20 full interview, Rihanna even had to watch online videos in which people accused her of provoking Brown. But she told Sawyer that those reactions were "ignorance."

The Rihanna 20/20 Diane Sawyer interview was also timed with the release of her new single, as she tries to focus on her rising career again. It also came a week before Chris Brown is set to tell his side of the story, for an MTV interview airing next Friday. After the full Rihanna 20/20 interview aired first, Brown chose to speak out faster and released a statement.

Brown actually questioned Rihanna for airing all the details of what happened on 20/20, maintaining that all of the details should be private. But the prospect of new details were the main attraction for the Rihanna/Diane Sawyer interview, and fans will be tuning into Brown's interview expecting the same thing.

Nevertheless, Brown insisted that he wished Rihanna the best, and that "abuse of any kind is wrong." He will undoubtedly express those sentiments in his MTV interview, but by then, people will have been downloading the full 20/20 piece for a whole week, and going over Rihanna's account of the abuse.

If this is the time when a fuller truth of what happened between Rihanna and Brown comes out, then Brown suffered by putting his side of the story out a week too late. The Rihanna 20/20 full interview, with all of her harrowing allegations, is online now.
