Rihanna Inked: The Rebel Flower and 10 Other Tattooed Talents

Superstar Rihanna has set everyone abuzz, but it's not about Love the Way You Lie, the recent song/video where she teamed up with popular rapper, Eminem. The latest news on Rihanna is about a new tattoo - somewhere between the 13th and the 15th in her known body art collection, leaving many to wonder if the R&B artist has a body art addiction.

Of course, Rihanna is not the first star to get tattoos. Here are some other celebrities with tattoos that you may or may not know about:

Christina Aguilera - Beautiful blonde bombshell, Christina Aguilera, has a number of tattoos including "Xtina" on the back of her neck, "Te Amo Siempre" on the inside of her forearm combined with her husband's initials written in Hebrew and even a little Mickey Mouse tattoo. Additionally, she has a number of piercings - some in places that we just don't want to imagine a Mouseketeer getting pierced).

Drew Barrymore - Movie star and Covergirl, Drew Barrymore, has a cross on her ankle, a blue moon with a star on her right foot, flowers on her hip bone and a couple of angel tattoos.

David Bowie - A David Bowie fan for years, I was surprised to hear he has a nude woman, surrounded by Kanji, on the back of his left calf and has a lizard tattooed on his ankle.

Jennifer Love Hewitt - Ghost Whisperer, Jennifer Love Hewitt has a small tattoo on the back of her right ankle and is also known to be a fan of temporary tattoos - she's been seen wearing butterflies in the past (now you see them, now you don't...oooh spooky!)

Paris Hilton - Rumor is that Paris Hilton had ex-boyfriend/Back Street Boy Nick Carter's name tattooed on her backside... but that she had it removed by laser. You know what they say - love hurts.

Lady Gaga - This controversial singer has quite a few tattoos, including a peace sign on her left wrist, roses on her hip, daisies on her shoulder and a long quote in German.

Sarah Palin - Rumor has it that Alaskan Governor and former US Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin has a Big Dipper constellation tattoo on her ankle and possible permanent lip liner.

Revealing the words French words, "rebelle fleur" (rebel flower) on her neck, Rihanna is not the first celebrity to get a tattoo and she certainly won't be the last. With tattoos being a popular way for people to express themselves, tattoos will probably be around for a long time to come.
