Rihanna Spotted in Mexico on Vacation

Rihanna was spotted in Punta Mita, Mexico this week. She is said to have been staying at private home on the water earlier this week, and has since left Mexico. This is only the second time she has been caught on camera, since she was allegedly assaulted and badly beaten by Chris Brown, earlier this month. There seem to be no visible bruises or scratches on Rihanna in the pool-side photos. She sported a white strapless bikini, with a stack of silver bangle bracelets. She has some nice tan lines, so it appears that she's been doing a lot of relaxing in the past week, which is well deserved.

Earlier this month, Rihanna was badly beaten, and photos were somehow leaked to TMZ from the Los Angeles Police Department. These photos showed to large contusions on her forehead, which looked almost like horns growing out of hear head, as well as severe swelling to her face. Chris Brown is her alleged attacker, and rumors have circulated that the fight began over a text message sent to Brown by another lady, referred to as a "booty call." Rihanna apparently tried to get out of the car with the keys, and Chris Brown began beating her, knocking her unconscious for a brief period. Chris Brown has since lost his endorsement from Double Mint Gum, he has lost the Got Milk campaign, and many radio stations refuse to play his music. Many have said his career is over due to this incident, and his court date is set for next week.

Sources close to Rihanna have also claimed she was seen going into an OB-GYN only days prior to the attack, fearing she may be pregnant with Chris Brown's unborn child. It has not been confirmed if the resulted showed that she was pregnant, or if Chris Brown knew of the pregnancy prior to the attack. Brown did release a statement apologizing for the situation, but not going into detail as to what occurred the night of the attack. No person should have to endure any type of domestic abuse, and hopefully Rihanna will be able to overcome this tragedy, and possibly speak out against domestic violence.
