Rihanna's Family Wants Her to Get Back Together with Chris Brown

Rihanna's family members seem to be a bit out of their minds -- they want the singer to get back together with Chris Brown.

Chris just must be one of those guys who really know how to turn on the charm around strangers, making people that they've just met immediately fall in love with them. The R&B artist seems to be capable of convincing people (including his fans) that he's a sweet guy and as harmless as a fly (it's a trait plenty of sociopathic serial killers have in common).

Anyway, he must have really worked his magic around some of Rihanna's cousins -- they're reportedly urging her to get back together with Chris Brown.

Her cousin Nicola Alleyne says she knows that Chris made a mistake when he made his ex's face all black and blue, and she forgives him for beating RiRi up. Nicola believes that Chris still loves Rihanna, although she gives no reason for why she thinks this, and she calls him "really, really nice."

She also pulls the same card that many of Chris Brown's fans have pulled since the incident that temporarily soiled his good name. According to Showbiz Spy , Nicola had this to say about the horrible end of Rihanna's relationship: "I think he got hit too. Knowing Rihanna like I do, it was a fight. But I would love them to be back together. I really think Chris still loves her."

So basically she's trying to place blame on RiRi, which really is not fair. Even if the two were fighting, it's no excuse for what Chris did to her -- he didn't look beat up at all after the altercation, and her face was extremely busted up. It's really hard to see how a family member could be on Chris' side after seeing what RiRi looked like after that encounter. So why are some of her family members hoping that the two will get back together?

Well, the only explanation that makes any sense is that the cousins hoping for a reconciliation are big Brown fans, since the excuses Nicola made are so similar to those made by Chris' admirers. However, it would be nice if they could put there fan worship aside to support their family member -- now she needs people standing behind her to make her feel strong so that she doesn't accept being in an abusive relationship ever again.
