On the pro wrestling reality television show, Tough Enough, contestant Rima Fakih was eliminated in week four on the WWE show. She was a former Miss USA winner of 2010, which was echoed many times throughout her tenure on the show. It was quite obvious, to the viewers, that she didn't have a chance to shake off the target she had on her back, and to step off the large chopping block she found herself on midway into the first episode and until her exit, due to her past accomplishments in life.
Throughout the course of the contest, Rima was put on a higher playing field then the rest of the Tough Enough pack. To get to the end, she was basically told to dig a ditch with a spoon, while everyone else was able to use shovels. Others, such as Matt, had to tank to become a former contestant of the show. Rima only had to show up.
She was placed in the elimination round three times, with the third time being the final time. Normally, the elimination round consists of three "bottom feeders," and a final Q&A round by Austin. He then soaks in what he has heard, and makes his decision on the single worst person of the three that needs to go home. However, she appeared one too many times at the elimination round, and was executed in front of her peers, inside the training gym. Interesting to note, in the following week, contestant Ryan was placed in the elimination round for the third week in a row, and received the opportunity to be heard during the final elimination round he appeared in, before being eliminated.
In the final week of Rima being in the competition, Bill DeMott, Trish Stratus, and Steve Austin all agreed that every female contestant didn't show them anything. Yet, it goes back to Rima. Wasn't she Miss USA? I'm not saying, I'm just saying. The previous week, she beat all the other girls, and some of the guys, in a running exercise. Stone Cold once said during the show that he was basing his decision as to who was the bottom three for that week, from not only what transpired for that week, but what happened in the earlier week(s). So, the girls do equally bad for week four, Rima beats all of them in a foot race the previous week, and Miss USA is eliminated. Again, I'm not saying, I'm just saying.
According to Stone Cold, the main reason why she was eliminated, was because of her body telling her no. This was due to Rima being tired and fatigued throughout the challenges. Meanwhile, a male contestant with the best looking afro around, named Eric, stayed around until being eliminated in week six. And he was winded after his first sit-up. Also, did I miss something? Was Rima the only contestant, other than Eric, that got tired?
Now, do I believe Rima was going to win? Maybe not, as the top players right now appear to be "Pretty Boy" Luke and Jeremiah. As the sure thing, Martin, was recently eliminated due to a fractured ankle. But, she should have lasted a lot longer then she did. But, I guess that's what she gets for thinking she was going to be witnessed before being judged.
