Rimini is a city in northeast Italy, in the province of Emilia Romagna and located on the Adriatic Sea and it is famous for its beach resorts on what is known as the Adriatic Riviera. However the city is also famous for an interesting park called "Italia in Miniatura" which is a park where you can see Italy's main monuments and squares on a miniature scale; the park was built initially in 1970 and at that time there only fifty miniatures now you can see many more even some European famous structure.

This park is fun on vacation as well as a lot of schools (elementary and middle) bring their class here for a fun learning environment. The park is located at via Popilia 239 and kilometer 197 of the Adriatica in Rimini. The tickets for the park are 16 Euros for children and 21 Euros for adults and if you wish for an extra Euro you can have a seasonal pass. The hours of operations for the park are from 9:30 a.m. until sunset except for holidays where the park will stay closed.

Now that you are inside the park you can visit all the main monument of Italy in one day, just be careful not to step on the coliseum. When you enter you can go visit Italy's miniatures and near it there is also a small section dedicated to some of Europe's important monuments and there is a special place for Venice too where you can ride around in a gondola.

Some of the miniatures that you can see are divided by region, so when you are in the Sicily are you can admire the Messina Cathedral or the Greek Theatre in Syracuse, then you can move up to the region of Campania and see Pompeii and the famous Reggia di Caserta (Caserta's Palace). Continue to move up to Rome where you can admire thminiature Trevi Fountain or Saint Peters' Square, and continue to move up to Milan and check out the mini Duomo, just to name a few of the most known monuments. And as far as the European ones you can check out the Belvedere Castle in Austria and within twenty minutes you can see the famous Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen, Denmark and then move to Paris, France and look down of the Eiffel Tower.

And some of the fun things that you can do according to the site (http://www.italiainminiatura.com ) are the science fair where you can actually test the laws of physics and mechanics with the two characters the scientists Doctor Von Kaos and his assistant Otto, and then you can proceed to Piazza Italia where you can see animated puppets and if you ring a bell then you will see different funny situations unfold for your entertainment.
