Pricier than some of Indy's other New Year's Eve bashes, this event is said to be a more private, all-inclusive event. The Rathskeller is by far one of the most popular downtown destinations in Indy for drinking, dancing, listening to live music and connecting with friends. So, it only makes sense that it's an equally popular destination for New Year's Eve. This year, the Rathskeller will feature live band Zanna Doo during its annual New Year's bash. New Year's Eve Senior Dance on Main (Ticket Prices To Be Announced)
Location: Aurora Lion's Club Indianapolis, 228 Second Street, Indianapolis, Indiana
If you're looking for something a little laid back (and not for the younger set) come and enjoy some old-time fun. This event will include several enjoyable activities for to help attendees celebrate New Year's Eve, including dinner, soft drinks, snacks and party favors. A local group called The Wood Axles will play starting at 8:30 p.m.
New Year's Eve Rock'n'Roll Ball ($39/person; room packages available)
Location: Hyatt Regency Hotel, One South Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana
This popular event is celebrating its fifth year running, and will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. This Indianapolis New Year's Eve event will feature live music on the Atrium Stage and in the Cosmopolitan Ballroom. Enjoy the Fantasy Casino "Player's Lounge", as well as Indy's largest balloon drop when the clock strikes twelve.
