Ringling Brothers Circus Arrives in Orlando, Florida

The Circus is Coming to Florida at the Amway Theater in Orlando Florida

Sondra C
There are many things to see and do in Florida aside from visiting Disney World and just as much fun.

Set aside a day of your Disney World vacation to take the family to see the greatest show on earth. The Ringilng Brothers Circus is arriving in Amway Arena in the Orlando, FL Address: 600 West Amelia Street Orlando, FL 32801 (mapquest in new window) Once Called: TD Waterhouse Centre and you won't want to miss it.

The circus is filled with old and new thrills. The clowns will keep the little ones laughing and the animals will put on a show that is amazing. Add all this to the trapeze artists performing on a high wire - it is a thrill a minute. The cotton candy never tastes better than enjoying it while watching the circus performers perform.

Keep one day open to attend The Greatest Show on Earth. Keep in mind the Ringling Brothers Circus will be in Orlando for only one week. Tickets sell fast, trust me, so call Ticketmaster or the box office and get your tickets before they are all sold out.

The Circus will be in the Amway Arena from January 13th-17th.
Get your tickets early. Tickets for the Ringling Bros Circus are are on sale now.

Regular seating tickets are not much more than a movie these days. Only those specific seats, like the big shots buy, are expensive. My daughter takes her granddaughter to see the circus every year and says every act can be seen no matter where you sit.

As a matter of fact, most of the show takes place on the ground except for the Trapeeze artists and you can view them from most any seat. Buy the least expensive seat and save the money for the hot dogs and popcorn to munch on.

Show Times are:

Thursday, January 13, at 7:30 p.m.
Friday, January 14, at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, January 15, at 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, January 16, at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Monday, January 17, at 5 p.m. (the final show)

Tickets are $100 (Circus Celebrity; $65 (front row); $45 (VIP); $35 (loge/ club/suite/lower level), $30 (2nd level), $20 and $15.

*Ticketmaster service charges and facility fees not included in the above prices.

Tickets are available at www.ringling.com or www.ticketmaster.com, at any Ticketmaster outlet, by calling 800-745-3000, or the Amway Center box office (407-440-7900). For group ticket sales and information, call 866-248-8740.

I haven't been to a circus in decades! This makes me want to go out and find one!

I saw the signs for this coming. I never liked the circus, the clowns always freaked me out - lol. I think it was an old movie with clowns that did me in. Anyway, my thought is, if you live in Orlando - with all the theme parks and other amusement - why would I go to the circus? But then again, that's just me, I love Disney. :)

    Thanks for the great info.

For those who have never been to a circus I would tell them that not all circus's are the same. The small unknown ones can be like a sham. The only true circus is the original Barnum & Baily Circus. Since Baily has died, Barnum has removed the name.

If possible see one. The regular seats are very reasonable and only come around to each area once a year.

All the old animals from here come to the Big Cat place in Tampa. We loved going to see the retired ones. Great company.

Hope they take good care of the animals. Some circuses don't.
