Rino Nightclub Closing January, 2011

The popular River North Nightclub, Rino, located at 343 West Erie Street is slated to close on January 2, 2011. Customers received a postcard in the mail that brought the news of the closing. I have to say that the Rino, whose name is a combination of the words "River North," was a great place to go on the weekends. The staff was always nice, and they always seemed to interact with the customers and have fun. The music was some of the best that I've ever heard, because it wasn't the same old music that they played on the radio.

The postcard let us know that a "Last Call At Rino" private party would be held on January 1, 2011, featuring the disc jockeys DJ Kid and DJ Jerzy.

In addition to the mailed postcard, an e-mail was sent out from an LGN group representative, who represents the club, stating that the closing is only temporary, and that a new concept would subsequently re-occupy the River North space on Erie Street.
