R.I.P. Heather Miller

Roni ODonnell
Heather Miller, 11 years old died on Friday, January 29, 2010 surrounded by her family. She lived in Bedford County, PA and was diagnosed 15 months ago with a rare form of cancer. She went to the Chestnut Ridge School District.

This child bravely went through something that even a grown adult should not have to endure. She became well know all around and our local news kept us well informed of her status. Heather was also featured on the "Today Show" on September 2009. Anytime the media covered her she had that wonderful big smile.

What a blessing for our world to have been touched by such an angel. Heather left behind her parents, Wendy and Don and a younger sister, Hannah. In her short life she touched many lives in many ways. Her entire family did.

I did not know Heather. Only through the media but I believe she truly found her purpose in life and it was accomplished. I will add links that will give you the opportunity to know Heather more. There is also a R.I.P. Heather Miller fan club on Facebook. A great tribute to a sweet young lady.

I am sure Heather is busy on a new mission with God now. Nothing ever kept Heather down for long.

R.I.P. Heather Miller.

I am praying for a little boy named Gabe who I've never met. He has lung cancer and was diagnosed at the ripe old age of 8. It is so rare in small children. He's doing battle, taking chemo and has outlived everyone's expectations already. Keep Gabriel DuBois in your prayers. He's another little angel. Cheers and love, Michele

It's sad that children end up with deadly diseases like cancer. I'm happy she got her wish.

I didn't get to contact or get to Best Buy yesterday (life got in the way) so my computer isn't fixed and I'm using my mom's which has a keyboard too big for my hands AND I can't find my glasses (i THINK Woofles is plotting against me and knocked them down somewhere).
