RIP Mick Jagger: Any Truth to Twitter Death Rumor?

Nick Meyer
The Twitter community is known for their mob-like mentality and that appears to be the case again as rumors of Mick Jagger's "death" hit the sidebar as a top trending topic worldwide.

But according to various mainstream sites the Rolling Stones frontman is not dead and the RIP Mick Jagger rumors are merely another fake death event on the social networking site.

Other victims of the hoaxes have included Justin Bieber and Keenan Ivory Wayans among many others including Charlie Sheen and Aretha Franklin.

In the case of Franklin it seemed as if more people believed the rumors because she has been sick but Jagger recently performed at the Grammy Awards and he seems to be his energetic self, at least for his age.

Mick Jagger is one of the more spirited performers in rock even at his age and it is widely known that he is in fact not dead despite the Twitter "RIP Mick Jagger" rumors.

They should get rid of twitter. How many fake deaths have been reported on twitter. Ridiculous.
