Ripples of Desire Weave a Symphony of Love

Venus Rachal
Under the waxing moon
You run your fingers down my skin
Watching the ripples of desire
Reverberate throughout my form
And I, willingly rescind any vow
I may have made to rebuff you.
You wait for the moment of rapture
To remind me of the intensity of your regard
-as if I could forget-
You refute all of my reasons for remaining free
As you wrap yourself around me
And I, relinquish control.
The richness of your rhapsody reweaves the
fabric of me
Until my melody is remade into a symphony
Recounting the mystery of love.
