There is a major problem going on in our Nation today. Christians have allowed God to be taken out of schools. Why is that? Have the Christians decided to just stay quiet and allow it?
School systems claim it is offensive to allow prayer or the mention of God. They don't want to offend the non-Christian children. Pagans are allowed to practice their religion with Halloween being forced on Christian children. What happened to freedom of religion?
Everyone knows Halloween is a Pagan holiday. It's the night that those practicing Wicca and witchcraft are making their sacrifices and Satanists are doing their thing. Why are Christians made to deal with it? There is nothing about Halloween that lines up with the Christian beliefs.
So, what is the big deal about Christian children praying? Why can't they wear their crosses on their necks? Non-Christians are not made to take off their gothic attire. Wiccans are not made to take off their clothing promoting witchcraft.
Harry Potter is allowed to be brought up in class. That's considered good reading. It is popular opinion that anything that gets children to read is a good thing. When a child mentions that they read the Bible in school, they are quickly made to be quiet.
Science classes are full of talk of evolution and evolving from monkeys. Christian beliefs are hushed in the classroom. The Christian child is made to endure it, memorize it and even take tests on the subject matter-offensive to them or not-they must abide by the rules and deal with it. It's not acceptable to offend the others-- let's not forget that!
It's time christians take a stand. Christians are the ones being walked all over and made to deal with the rest. If pagans are allowed to boast their beliefs loud and proud-- Christians should be allowed the same. There are too many Christians setting back allowing these things to happen.
Everyone wonders why America is stormed by violance and school shootings. When witchcraft is accepted over Christianity, that may make people scratch thier heads. It took one woman who was offended to take prayer out of school. What can a whole army of Christians do if they take a stand?

Post a CommentI'm not trying to be rude or start anything. But Pagans get as much of the same treatment that you are saying on here right now. Also when you said pagans are allowed to wear their stuff and christians can't, I know for a fact when I was in school, I saw students wear their crosses and what not, and I saw pagans wear their stuff, another point you brought up is that pagans wear their "gothic" clothes thats NOT true as not all pagans wear gothic stuff. You may think halloween is "evil" but do you think about it when christians throw their religion on pagans?
Sadie I agree we all just need to get along. When we break down the walls then we might get somewhere. Thanks for the comment. Mechele, I too stand with you praying for our Nation. Thank you both! :) It just bothers me how one religion can do something but the other cannot.
Although I am personally not religious, I disagree with eliminating the right to free worship in public places for those who wish it, as this infringes on our personal rights. People are so easily offended, and we are seeing the Dark Side of political correctness. It is something of a backlash, as these minority religions have been discriminated against for years and even centuries. At the risk of sounding naive and cliched, "can't we all just get along?"
Kelly, while I agree with you, I've also considered this....
There is still a moment of silent meditation. During those quiet moments, our children can pray to the God of the Universe and, just like Jesus promised, He is "with us always."
I am silently praying that one day, this nation will return to God.
2 Chronicles 7:14
"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
We could use a bit of "healing". Cheers ;)
