Rise of a Parasite

There are many employers that accuse union leaders and their organizers of being Marxists but that is not true. As a former union leader I helped a lot of workers get a raise in pay only because if they made a buck so did I---Politics was no issue. Most people are afraid of asking their boss for a raise because it is easy for the boss to say: "NO". Thats where I became useful. One visit to the boss by me and a threat of closing down the plant got my members a small but acceptable raise. My down-low compensation was enough to keep me in Vegas for a glorious month and plus.

It all started as a youth when I found that I had organizational talent---I helped form a junior baseball league. Later I worked as a community organizer for a corrupt Liberal politician. We were responsible for building the largest affordable housing project in a North Eastern city. I received large cash payments in a paper bag from the construction union until the project was finally completed. My organizational talents led me to become the vice president of a garment centre union. The salary was small but the under the table payments for helping deliver sweetheart contracts was big. I never was a Marxist nor were any of my union organizers, we were just a bunch of parasites getting rich off the labour of others.

Wow! This one hits hard! I used to be a union man myself, until I found out they really don't do anything for the workers (especially in a "Right to Work State" such as Tennessee). Way to pass along the lesson you learned as a former 'parasite'.
