Rising Costs
It's a weekly change
3 dollars for a gallon of gas
And today that's not even strange
Can anybody help
Will someone please help
We are losing our house
We are losing our cars
In these times of trouble
Some are even losing there spouse
Can anybody help
Will someone please help
Insurance is astounding
Be it car or health
We don't know what to do
So some pray for wealth
Can anybody help
Will someone please help
I know this sounds bleak
And I know this sounds bad
And I don't want to end this poem
With everyone feeling sad
So don't be discouraged
Better days are yet to come
Think of other countries
Then be grateful where we are from
With this next election
And how historic it will be
The next candidate to be crowned
Will surly set us free
This is not a coincidence
It's the way it's meant to be
