The first 500 customers at any Rita's Italian Ice will receive a free Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Peep chick. (And word has it that a chocolate covered Peep is in the works for Halloween this year!)
Peeps History and facts
Marshmallow Peeps were first made in the 1950's by Just Born Company in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. The first Peeps made were the Easter chicks. Since then, the Peeps family has grown into Easter Bunnies, Christmas trees and gingerbread men, Valentine hearts, and Halloween cats. Peeps also come in flavors like chocolate mousse, strawberry, and vanilla creme.

Post a CommentWhat a great freebie! I linked to you on my blog. I love Peeps!
Are you kidding? These are two of my favorite things, but I just don't know how they go together. I'm going to have to find out.
This is great for Peeps fans.
I bought a chocolate covered Marshmallow Peep and it wasn't what I thought it would be. It was more creamy, like something you would get out of a Whitman's Sampler box. Unfortunately, I am a Peep-a-holic this time every year. Though I didn't like it as much, I ate it anyway. LOL!

yummy :)
