Road to 2012: Newt Gingrich One Step Closer to Challenging Barack Obama for President of the United States
Talk of the Political World: Gingrich Forms Presidential Exploratory Website
According to Fox News, Gingrich has begun the process of becoming a presidential candidate for 2012. According to his website, he attempts to show voters that he is focused on listening to the American people: what they need and want for their country. One way is by allowing voters to go to his website and offer your thoughts and ideas.
This Newt Explore 2012 website allows you to offer Gingrich your frustrations, tips, and needs of what you would like to see done with this country. Good or bad, this is a wonderful way to let him know what the voters think. This method is either a radical idea or the next wave of politics for our country. Gone is the day of possible presidential candidates ignoring the people. Now, presidential candidates will need to talk to, listen to, and act on what the American people want.
In years past, we've watched and listened to presidential candidates give a political rhetoric that was difficult to understand, much less appreciate. Yet many presidential candidates have made this their foundation to be able to sway voters. They say what voters want to hear and get elected. The difference in 2012 will be voters are no longer ignoring the rhetoric in speeches. They are glued to their TVs wanting real answers, real change, and definite action from these candidates.
Possible candidates like Newt Gingrich giving new ideas could be exactly what this country needs. On the other hand, he could be considered "old" politics. Obama was the "newer" version of politics and possibly Americans could revolt against Obama and turn to more of the "older" politics we've seen in previous years. Voters may vote for the experience factor, whether Republican or Democrat.
The Road to 2012 can only be filled with surprises, twists and turns, and a new kind of politics. The American voters are looking for honesty, sincerity, and something new in 2012. Instead of talking, Americans want a problem-solver. The American people are awake and listening to what is happening. Gone is the day when Americans ignored politics. It's a new day in America. Whether Republican, Democrat, or Independent, this time America is ready for a new improved kind of political race.

Wonderful article, Jacqueline. I agree that Americans are tired of the rhetoric and ready for someone who will "walk the walk".
