2) Shark Tale (2004) - $367 million

In Shark Tale Robert De Niro voiced the character of bad guy Don Lino. Hard to believe that in his long illustrious career the second best money making movie in Robert De Niro's career is an animated film.

3) Meet the Parents (2000) - $330 million

The first in the series and the first really big money making film Robert De Niro ever starred in. It may be sad but it's also true that Ben Stiller has been in more big money making movies than Robert De Niro.

4) Heat (1995) - $187 million

De Niro teamed up with Al Pacino in Heat which was a box office success but a mediocre movie. The two Hollywood heavyweights teamed up again in the 2008 Righteous Kill which only made $78 million. You can fool people once but twice is harder.

5) Analyze This (1999) - $177 million

Three of Robert De Niro's biggest money making films are comedies which is not a coincidence. DeNiro has talent for it and audiences love it.
