An April Fools Joke that Gives Twilight Fans a Jolt
This April Fools joke caused Twilight Fans around the world to cry out in agony. Robert Pattinson is a fan favorite for his portrayal of the vampire Edward Cullen in the 2008 movie Twilight. The Internet news articles point to Robert Pattinson's no-show appearance at the Kids' Choice Awards as a sign he was overwhelmed by fan attention. These articles indicate that Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson's co-star in Twilight, will take over the role of the Edward Cullen in New Moon.
New Moon will be the second film in the Twilight series. It has a scheduled release date of November 20, 2009 in the US.
So, all Twilight, New Moon, and Robert Pattinson fans, take a deep breath and laugh at being the target of an April Fools joke.
