Robert Pattinson and Emma Watson to Re-Unite on Screen?

Kyra Lennon
Former "Harry Potter" co-stars Emma Watson and Robert Pattinson may be reunited soon in a remake of the movie "Dark Arc". A report on a Robert Pattinson fansite said that these reports should only be treated as a rumour for the time being, particularly as conflicting reports are filtering through.

"Dark Arc" was originally released in 2004, starring a cast of virtually unknown actors. The comedy/drama is about an eccentric artist and his beautiful muse, who set up a series of events with the intention of influencing the life of a graphic designer, leading to shocking consequences.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, the idea of Robert Pattinson and Emma Watson acting together is quite an exciting prospect. Anyone who has seen the special features on the DVD of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" (in which Pattinson played Cedric Diggory) may have spotted a certain chemistry between the pair!

Chances of these gorgeous young actors rekindling any of that chemistry is highly unlikely though, as Pattinson is currently said to be dating his long term movie co-star Kristen Stewart. Emma Watson is thought to be single after One Night Only band member George Craig denied they are in a relationship at the end of last month.

Any worries about the future relationships of Pattinson and Watson may merely be left to speculation though. Gossipcop.com have claimed that a representative for RPattz said he will not be involved in a remake of Dark Arc. This is probably just as well after Emma Watson publicly slated "Twilight" recently, saying that it sells sex. Many reports have taken this as an outright hit at Robert Pattinson, but there is no evidence to back that up. Even so, her feelings may not lead to a brilliant working relationship between the pair.

Whatever the outcome of this story, this writer thinks that "Dark Arc" sounds like the kind of movie that is more cult than popular in the mainstream - however if Robert Pattinson does star in it, it can only be a roaring success. People will flock to it, even if only to see his beautiful face on the big screen!

I don't get all the Pattinson hype. I also can see why Emma said Twilight sells sex. Good reporting!

I don't think the original can be that good if it was only made 6 years ago. It's possible that someone sees the potential if it is remade with big stars, since fans will go see it regardless.

I think Dark Arc is a dorky name! The movie does sound interesting though.
