Robert Pattinson No Longer Sexiest Man Alive Says People Magazine

The latest issue of People Magazine is now out, and this is as always an issue that many women wait for with baited breath (and probably heaving bosoms as well) to see which of their favourite hunks is voted the Sexiest Man Alive (see pictures).

Well this year, which is actually the 25^th year of this award by People Magazine, fans of Twilight Saga star Robert Pattinson were sadly disappointed to find that he is not at the top of People Magazine's list.

Instead of British born Robert Pattinson, People Magazine has listed Canadian born Ryan Reynolds as the Sexiest Man Alive, and he can be seen starring in the movie The Green Lantern, soon to be released.

So who is this Ryan Reynolds anyway?

Ryan Reynolds is a 34 year old Canadian actor, who apparently can make "a mean omelette" and doesn't so much have six-pack abs as eight-pack abs. As well as the new movie The Green Lantern, Ryan can also be seen in National Lampoon's Van Wilder, Just Friends, Definitely Maybe, The Proposal and X-Men Origins. He is probably best known right now however for playing the role of Michael "Berg" Bergen in the television show Two Guys And A Girl.

So Who Else Is On The List?

In 2^nd place People Magazine have 39 year old John Hamm, who has played host on Saturday Night Live, as well as Tina Fey's love interest on the show 30 Rock.

In 3^rd place, Kellan Lutz, a 25 year old who is also known for his role in the Twilight Saga.

In 4^th place, singer/actor Drake who is 24, best known for his role in Degrassi: The next Generation and for chart topping hits like "Find Your Love".

5^th place, any guesses? It's Matthew Morrison, a 32 year old former star of Broadway, and currently starring as Mr. Shue in Glee.

What, No Robert Pattinson Yet?

Not a glimpse, as we move on to 6^th place and Jon Bon Jovi. This proves (thankfully) that you don't have to be young to be sexy (I still have a chance then), as Jon is 48 and has been married for 21 years. I guess nobody needs to know who he is and what he is best known for...

On to 7^th place, and 34 year old Joe Manganiello, who works out twice a day six days a week and played a werewolf in True Blood.

8^th place and we see another regular, Robert Downey Jr., the well known actor, who is now 44.

Number 9 is Jesse Williams, a 30 year old hunk who starred in Grey's Anatomy and was previously a school teacher in Philadelphia.

In 10^th place, Justin Timberlake, who is now 29 and I am sure also needs no introduction.

Number 11? The ever popular Vin Diesel, 43 year old star of The Fast And The Furious, Pitch Black, The Chronicles Of Riddick and many more well known movies.

And finally in 12^th place, back in the news, but not good news for Robert Pattinson fans, it's Jake Gyllenhaal, now 29 and star of such movies as October Sky, Jarhead, The Day After Tomorrow and Brokeback Mountain.

So SHOCK HORROR as fans of Robert Pattinson find that their true love not only isn't at the top of the list, he isn't even on the list.

Of course everyone has their own idea as to who should be at the top of any category, and Hollywood Life were so shocked by the People Magazine list that they came up with their own Top Ten List:
